SRC offers a variety of services to be collectively referred to as ‘the Service’. All pages included under this URL are to be collectively referred to as ‘the Site’.

SRC are committed to protecting your rights to privacy. This privacy policy tells you what to expect when we collect personal information. We treat all information confidentially and will only use the information required for us to be able to deal with the Service.

Data Protection Act 1998

SRC has notified the Information Commissioner under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 that it may obtain information about data subjects in both paper and electronic format.

SRC have technical measures in place to prevent any access of client information from anyone but staff of SRC. We confirm that when processing data on your behalf we will comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Collection of personal information

If expressing an interest in the Service or when registering to use the Service SRC requires contact information such as name, company name, address, telephone number and email address. We will use these details to provide you with information concerning your enquiry solely. If purchasing the Service SRC requires further information such as financial details and billing information.

During the course of our work we will collect information from you and others acting on your behalf and will return any original documents to you following the preparation of your financial statements and returns. You should retain these records for at least seven years from the end of the accounting year to which they relate.

Whilst certain documents may legally belong to you, we intend to destroy correspondence and other papers that we store which are more than seven years old, other than documents which we consider to be of continuing significance.

Disclosure of personal information

SRC has appropriate internal IT & Communications and Confidentiality Policies in place which outline the importance of all safety and security measures within the practice. Please be aware client information may only be sent via email with the expressed approval of the client. Information which is sensitive to SRC or its clients and customers may not be sent via email.

SRC reserves the right to disclose personally identifiable information of the company’s clients where the law requires us to do so or where it is deemed necessary to comply with regulatory and legal processes.

Navigational information

When visiting the Site navigational information may be collected through the use of information gathering tools such as cookies. This information includes standard statistics in order to monitor and analyse activities such as the duration of the visit to the Site and the nature of the browser used. SRC does not capture or store any personal identifiable data from visitors to the Site.
